ILSE started a pilot project to develop a Public Rescue Tube.
The aim is to develop a Rescue Tube which enables the civil population to start a rescue mission if lifeguards are not available.
At a first meeting the project steering group was established and two national test groups, operating in Denmark and Germany, were determined.
