With great regret and sadness we have to take note of the passing away of our friend Claes Thorell, on Friday 8th August 2014 at the age of 77 years.
Former President and honoured Member of SLS Claes Thorell was a longstanding Member of the ILSE Rescue Commission.
The ILSE General Assembly of ILSE in Berlin/Germany in 2008 elected him as Member of Board of Directors of International Life Saving Federation of Europe. He held this office until 2012.
We would like to thank him for his longstanding efforts and commitments to the International Life Saving.
