ILSE was informed of the passing away of our friend Janet Castro.
From 1999-2013 she was a Member of the ILS and ILSE Sport Commission as representative of the ILS/ILSE Member Royal Lifesaving Society United Kingdom.
She was awarded with the ILSE Certificate of Merit in 2006 and honored in 2011 as ILS Knight in the Order of Lifesaving.
We would like to thank her for her longstanding efforts and work to the International Life Saving. We are remembering her as a specialist in all questions of lifesaving sports and as a friend for lifesaving in Europe.
