The ILSE Commissions met for their annual meeting in Athens, Greece, from March 14-17th, 2024.
85 participants from 22 countries took part.
The meeting started with the Best-Practice-Seminar for all present Members and Observers of the ILSE Commissions and asked to discuss about different topics, for example the impact of international activities on national Members and expectations of Members on activities and services of ILSE role of ILSE, future goals, tasks and structure of ILSE.
The Commissions discussed different items for example the preparation of the European Youth Lifesaving Championship 2024 in Germany, the revision of the ILSE Risk Assessment policy, drowning research and data collection, swimming and water safety education and different drowning prevention items.
