B-Learning course performed for Lifeguard Instructors in Portugal

The “Professional Lifeguards Academy” of the Portuguese Lifesaving Federation (FEPONS), organized on April 1, 2021, the first course “Teaching a lifeguard course in b-learning”, aimed to lifeguard instructors.
This training had 37 participants from various training schools, being validated and authorized by the Instituto de Socorros a Náufragos, which also participated in teaching the topic “Hourly division of the lifeguard course in b-Learning”.
This training aims to teach lifeguard instructors to teach a lifeguard course, in the b-Learning system, where the theoretical component is taught online and the practical component in person.
This system has been implemented for some years with great success in several countries, considered the most developed in the world in the lifesaving area.
