Return of the Portuguese Lifesaving Sport

On the return of the national lifesaving spor championship – pool sector, on May 8, 2022 in the municipal swimming pools of Coruche, after 2 years of interregnum due to the pandemic, it brought 4 junior national records.

In the return of the sport that saves lives through training and education, there was a participation of athletes in the youth, junior and senior levels, with emphasis on a higher percentage of youth participation.

Highlights in the results are the junior national records of Lucas Agostinho (BÚZIOS-Coruche) in the 50m Manikin Carry and the 100m Manikin Tow with Fins, the junior national record of João Conrado (BÚZIOS-Coruche) in the 200m Super Lifesaver and the junior national record of the BÚZIOS-Coruche relay, composed by Guilherme Silva, João Conrado, Lucas Agostinho and Rodrigo Mendes, in the 4x25m Manikin Relay. Collectively the CORAL-Reguengos de Monsaraz team was the winner with a total of 254 points.
