European Lifesaving Championships 2023

On September 14-24, 2023, the European Lifesaving Championships for Masters, Interclubs and National Teams took place in Brugge and Blankenberge, organised by the LFBS/RedFed as parts of the ILSE Member BLSF.

19 National Teams, 29 Interclubs with 189 athletes and 276 Masters competitors from 57 clubs took part. France became European Champion followed by German and Spain.

The pool events were organized by the LFBS, the ocean events by RedFed. Competitions for National Teams Open, Interclubs Open and the Masters took place.

The European Youth Lifesaving Championships 2023 in Gorzów Wielkopolski and Międzyzdroje successfully took place August 20-26, organised by ILSE Member WOPR, Poland.

15 National Youth Teams took part. Italy became European Champion followed by Spain and France.
